My computer thinks i have XP home and XP pro installed and asks me which one to launch?

the only problem is that i dont have pro any more i formatted and reloaded but i left my brother in charge of the formatting part so i think thats the problem any way wat do i gotta do to remove "xp pro"

many ppl face this problem and they dont know what to do ... i was facing the same problem while i discovered a good way to solve it

1st right click on my computer

2nd go to properties

3rd go to advanced

4th start up recovery go to settings then  edit a note pad will be opened

now careful here

when u start ur windows and lets say the windows xp comes first when u open ur computer and under it the home edition .. if so open the note pad and remove the first line in it then click X button save ur settings and reebot ..

When you're gonna re install XP, you have to delete the original version, otherwise you are only installing the new version and the other one stays the same, that's why is promptin you to choose versions
