My computer turns itself off! Please help?

I own an HP dv6000 series laptop, and lately its been turning itself off and I don't know why! Please help!

HP Laptop DV6000 is a good configuration Notebook

First you need to know what exactly happend with your laptop

did you install any software on it or did you download any stuff from the internet..

1- just try to run windows in safe mode ( pressing F8 At starting ) and check the condition

2- you can use the restore system option

Could be a power issue, the best bet would be to bring it into a techshop, and get them to run a full diagnostic on it, prolly only run you about 40 bucks

if it shuts off automatically then chances are your hard drive is turning on and off. inside your computer your hard drive spins, if it stops then your computer will shut off. could be caused by dust build up in the fan or its just ready to burn out. bring it to any tech and they can check it out for you. could run you anywhere from 50 - 250 depending on what the outcome is

1. Out of battery

2. On auto shut down
