Question:

My computer will buzz, then I receive a text message...?

My computer makes this somewhat loud buzzing noise, due to the sound speakers for my computer. Whenever that happens, my cell phone will vibrate directly after the buzzing noise happens. I won't here from that person I texted for about 10 mins., but then once that buzzing noise hits, I recieve a text from that person. There hasn't been a time where I was on my computer and the buzzing noise started and my ohone didn't vibrate. I am getting a little freaked out.

Is there anyone here who is a psychic/medium who can tell me what's going on, or a paranormal reasercher, if it's a ghostly thing? Anyone who has an explanation, and please don't be rude. Thank you for your time.

  1. it is just the signals sent to the phone going through the speakers and it makes that noise

its nothing to worry about it happens to everyone :)

  2. keep ur sellphone away from ur computer, sellphones causes inerference on some electronics when puted too close like TV, Radio, Computer etc etc

  3. i do belive it is the inner spirit of you computer telepathically communicating with the inner spirit of your phone, intercepting msgs from the beyond....

or it could be a technical thingimajiggy that happens to everyone.. >_<"

  4. what's going on has nothing to do with fake stuff like what you mentioned, when you send/recieve a text message fun little waves are sent from your phone and these waves effect your speakers. try unplugging your speakers and nothing will happen, this happens to me as well it's no all that wierd. only way to stop it would probably be to buy some sort of em shielding for your speakers, buy better speakers, or just unplug them.

  5. It's interference.

If I'm at my desk, and my cell phone is near the computer, and if I'm using the land line, all three signals will interfere with one another.

So my land line conversation will have a lot of reverberation, and will be very loud.

  6. It happens with my cell phone, too. I don't think it's paranormal.

Just in case, I'll call Ghostbusters.

  7. . The incoming EM signal interferes with the speakers, causing them to emit the weird buzzing sound you heard. The EM waves reach your phone and the speakers at the same time, but your phone needs to receive the whole message and register it before it alerts you. That's why the sound comes before your phone beeps.

So jjust stop leaving your phone next to your speakers

and it wont happen anymore =]

  8. its just interference...nothing supernatural.. happens to some electronic devices

nothing to worry about at all

    :]

  9. Your phone interacts with the cell tower when sending and receiving.  When it does so it sends out signals which your speakers are picking up.  It happens to me too.

On an interesting note, it happens with my AT&T iPhone service but didn't when I was with Sprint.

  10. Mine does that all the time.  Your phone is too close to your computer and is receiving some of the signals.

  11. That used to happen when I had my phone near my computer or near a radio. The incoming EM signal interferes with the speakers, causing them to emit the weird buzzing sound you heard. The EM waves reach your phone and the speakers at the same time, but your phone needs to receive the whole message and register it before it alerts you. That's why the sound comes before your phone beeps.

You could try a different phone to avoid this. I recently got a new one and I've had no problems.

  12. Badly built speakers and other electronic equipment are affected by the phone sending a confirmation signal to the local cell-tower. It happens everyone, all the time.

Next time, try thinking rationally before looking for a ghost or spirit or magic to explain a normal everyday occurrence.

  13. mabey theres signal confusion between your computer and your phone

  14. your grandmother is trying to contact you. Hurry get on myspace! she's online right now!

  15. Wow this isn't paranormal at all wow.  Yeah what everybody else said.

  16. um... all phones do that. if u have it in an area close to computer speakers or even sometimes tvs, the buzzing sound occurs, its not just u its everyone lol

  17. orz

It's absolutely extremely normal ! Electromagnetic waves are playing games while this event is going on!
