My computer won't start?

Question

I press the power button and i shut's off and a red light comes on where the green light is supost to be the moitor wont even come on,no blue screen no nothing...help me!!

It sounds like the power supply has gone out on it.

Maybe something has came unseated from the motherboard check the ram or the graphics card. also you could of had a surge get your computer if you see any burn marks on the motherboard you will need a new motherboard. also check the power supply
