So? Whats wrong with it? I know what I've said is a little vague, but there really isn't much to it. It's a Dell computer, and even though it has power going to it, all the connections are fitted properly and it's connected right it won't display anything on the monitor. It just beeps, but the button on the front is green, like it's turned on.

  1. The RAM in your system must have been burned. The beeping sound generally occurs when the RAM is broken. If you had some one recently clean your computer, then make sure that the RAM has been inserted properly. Alternatively, take the RAM out and put it again. Try it in different slots. But if the same problem persists, then try using a trial RAM from some friend and check if the computer works. In that case you might have to replace the RAM

  2. The beeping sound usually indicates the type of error that has occurred. For example, three beeps might indicate a problem with the RAM, one beep might indicate a problem with the motherboard, etc. Consult the documentation that came with your computer to find out the error that it signifies. Once you have that, we can move ahead and solve the error.

  3. mine did that once. what happend was one of the ram sticks came partly unpluged.

  4. battery died

  5. It is probably either overheated or some hardware has failed, make sure none of the vents are covered and try opening it up and cleaning out the fans with canned air as they may have become clogged with dust, causing your system to overheat. If it continues after that, then you might have damaged hardware.
