It's A Nikon Coolpix S 210 and I've tried Nikon Transfer too, and it says it'll transfer and upload pics automatically, but it won't. I don't know how to upload pictures from my digital camera now...and the pop up that always appears on my screen when I plug in my camera that asks if I want to copy pics into a folder, that won't appear anymore! WHY!

  1. Hi GQT,  I saw that it seemed like no one was going to answer your question  :( so I thought I would offer my thoughts.    Lots of stuff might be going on there... but you have to start from Step 1 and try to decipher what the problem might be.   Could be that the camera software, that comes with your camera set,  might have corrupted inside your computer.    First thing to do is to Un-install that software and install in again.    Happened to me long time ago.   If your computer has never been able to load the pictures,  it might be that the software disc is somehow damaged.  If it has worked before...  it is like I said... it might have corrupted recently.   It seems strange but is not unusual.     It is getting very unpopular to load pictures to your computer with the cable anymore and is a great hassle when it doesn't work...  like in your case.   See about getting a Card Reader that works with the Memory Card for your camera.  Believe me,  it is like a breath of fresh air.  They are less than $20.00 at any electronics store and just plug and play.  If you cannot get the software to cooperate and need your pics... like FAST.  Take the card to one of those photo labs like at the pharmacy 1 hour photo and they will put all of your pics on a CD..  Then you can load them immediately...  Hope that helps solve the problem.   Have a great day!!
