  1. There are two basic possibilities for your issue.

    1) Your CD burner isn't burning CDR's properly.

    2) Your CD drive is not reading burnt CDR's properly.

To test, burn some basic data on a CDR at a speed of 4x if possible.

Try that CD in another PC that can read CDR's.

I had a DVD Burner that would provide similar symptoms. After a few tests it turned out that dirt was causing it to be able to burn, but not read. (Dirt on just the right spots inside.)

You can also test by seeing if your drive can read CD's that you burned a while ago that you know were good back then.

You can even test with a pressed (ie, bought) CD, although note that the CD drive might actually read these differently (the laser might use a different amount of power to read burnt CD's than pressed ones).

  2. It's maybe the program that you are using that can not burn cds. U can use nero or roxio. There are both excellent burning programs that can help you easily burn a cd. Wish to help.
