My computer wont charge?

Question

My computer doesn't charge. what i mean is that you can plug it in and it won't work or charge. um its a inspiration 1200? its a dell. i checked to make sure it was in a power outlet.

My friend had this problem. Her battery cable just died one day. You probably need to replace it.
