My computer wont let me download anything because of security settings...help plz??

Im trying to download flash and it wont let me because of security settings...the run/save screen pops up and i click run but nothing happens...and i am an administrater but i cant access my firewall...what do i do???

Try going to your control panel, then Network and Internet, then click on firewall.  You should see the option to turn off or on the firewall option.  Otherwise, go to Options and Content under the Tools at the top of your browser.  Make sure the java, java script and load images boxes are checked to allow java to operate.  Also, check the level of your security...is it a the maximum?  If so, you might try lowering the level in order for your browser to operate properly.  This is not recommended, but I have always had to lower mine to operate the browser properly.

Go to controll panel click remove program,remove the firewall download what you need and then reinstall the firewall.
