My computer wont let me see my pictures.?

I try to look at my pictures which are in the folder my pictures and every time I open the folder my computer says "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Then the folder closes and nothing happens. I want to upload pictures to the internet and i cant because of this problem i dont know whats wrong can someone please help me.

It could be windows registry problems that doesn't know the default viewer of pictures. Try this:

start --> run , then type: /path/to/"my pictures"/blahblah.jpg

does it open the image ?

Also check for possible virus infection.

i think it's  a virus (u try to open virus folder that have the same name of ur folder) that is why it doesn't open
