When I click on the sight I want to use though google, this site named Bididle comes up and wont let me get to the website. Also, I have a ton of ads coming up when I use the computer. It just started doing this a couple days ago, before that, it worked fine. It lets me go to google and look things up, it just wont let me go to the site I need.

  1. MESSENGER SPAM::STEP #1,if this does not solve your problem,e-mail me for step #2::do you get pop ups claiming that your computer is at risk?::those are called "Messenger Spam" ! to stop messenger spam::open start page, open administrative tools, open services::these services are in alphabetical order.you need to close two:

    a] Alerter

    b] Messenger

NOT related to MSN messenger or any other instant messenger

right click each service, click properties, from drop down menu, select disable::another method to deal with those that get through is to copy the pop up address at the top of the pop up or pop under [ starts up AFTER you close a window ]::open internet options [ start--control panel--internet options ]::open content tab, open settings, open enable, enter address, click never,close::open Advanced tab: check to see if pop up blocker is checked,close::reboot

  2. You're infected, do the following to repair:-

Firstly, switch off system restore as the infection will be hiding in your restore points. You can switch it back on once your computer is clean

    Install and run the following:-

    SUPERantispyware http://superantispyware.com [free version]

Update and run a full scan once a week.

    Spybot Search and Destroy http://safer-networking.org

Update, Immunize and scan once a week.

    ccleaner http://ccleaner.com

Run the Cleaner scan and remove all it finds

Run the Registry scan and fix all issues but repeat this until nothing is detected.

    Run this daily.

I don't know what anti-virus you have but I recommend avast home edition http://avast.com

Whatever you choose, run a full scan with it last to be safe.

While you're at it you might as well check that you don't need to defragment and also run a Disk Cleanup, I'd do these monthly anyway.

Hope this helps and feel free to email me if you need any help.
