Hi, yesterday I was sparring in boxing for about the 3rd or 4th time with my contact lenses on and I was hit with a hard punch in my left eye. I have soft contact lenses, so it kind of crumpled up in the corner of my eye, but I centered it and continued boxing.

I didn't feel anything the rest of the day but this morning when I tried to put the contact lense back in my left eye, it would not center and would slide around everywhere, blurring the vision in my left eye. I'm pretty worried considering I have no idea what's causing this. I thought it would be that specific contact lense, but when I tried to place a new one in the same eye, it still would not center. I'm pretty worried and I was hoping if someone was familiar with the same situation that I'm in right now. Thank you and take care.

  1. What type of contacts do you wear? If they are disposables, I would get rid of those and try a new pair to see if it helps. once a contact "crumples" into the corner of your eye, I'm sure the integrity of the contact was affected. If you wear a new pair and the same thing keeps happening, you need to go see an Optometrist right away, pronto. Good Luck!
