I have trial contacts and am not going to order my new ones til monday. A few minutes ago i noticed that my contact felt weird. I went into the bathroom and noticed it was at the corner of my eye. I washed my hands then too it out. I noticed a "chunk" out of the side. What should I do. Eye doctor is for the night.

  1. Sucks for you, I hope you dont mind being blind unless you have glasses

  2. Wow, I have had a torn lens but a piece has never come out in my eye.  Definitely take the lens out.  Every time you blink your lens spins on your eye, and if there is a fault with your lens it could cause irritation to your eye.  It sounds to me like you had a faulty lens.  You will have to use glasses till Monday. . .sucks but try and keep the lens that tore to show the eye doctor.  . .that of you have not thrown it out.

  3. Huh...do you have glasses? Maybe another pair of contacts?

  4. Go back to your optometrist and tell them the contact lens ripped, and they should be able to give you a replacement lens

  5. That happened to me to when i had a trial pair. i just had to wait until i went back to the eye doctor. i had to throw them out :(

  6. can you see without your contacts?
