  1. It could be the prescription, or there could be a slight difference in your contacts and glasses prescriptions.  That could account for the headaches with glasses.  If you have an astigmatism that's corrected with the glasses but not with the contacts, that could be an issue.  You could also just be having sinus issues.  If it's time for a new eye exam anyway, you should just schedule an appointment and see what the doctor says.  If your prescription is still good, you can ask for a trial pair of different contacts to see if a different brand would help.

  2. Are the prescriptions the same?  If one of them is different then your eyes have to adjust to the other prescription which may cause headaches.  If they are the same prescription, your glasses may be weak and you may need a new prescription.  If this continues to happen for a few days, go to the eye doctor and get a new vision test.

  3. Talk to your eye doctor about your vision problems with the contacts and glasses.

There are many causes for headaches, besides those related to vision.  Perhaps you should see a medical doctor about the headaches.

  4. maybe something was in them? did they hurt? did you sleep with them in? if you did it gives less oxygen to your eyes.  I would go back to your eye doc and let him/her all that's happening and they'll help you the best.  Do what your doing with the glasses until then. Good luck and I hope everything works out for you!
