I can't get them out of my eyes. This is only the 2nd day i've had them and i was supposed to keep them in for 6 hours. now they have been in for 8 hours. My mom won't take me to the doctor and she won't let me call the office. I don't know what to do and i've tried everything. I tried putting the solution in and rubbing my eye. I've tried to get it out a million times but it won't move. my eyes hurt now and are all red. How do i get them out?

  1. Pull your eye lids open all the way. put 1 finger above the contact and another below. push your fingers together, squeeze the contact out.

If you still need help look for videos on youtube.

  2. I just got my contacts like 3 days ago and it took me a really long time to get mine out. just relax and make sure your fingers are from corner to corner on your eye and lightly brush across your eye and grab it.

if this doesnt work, try rinsing water in your eyes over the sink, idk if this works but my eye doctor told me this. i havent tried it yet tho.

    good luck!

  3. talk to ur mom.  tell her they are stuck and u are a little nervous and could she call the dr  for u.  maybe she wont let u  call them cause shes afraid u will say the wrong thing or something stupid but tell her u need their help

  4. run away go to the doctor!?

  5. Have you used eye drops or water? That usually makes them slick and easier to get out. Or maybe it's an allergic reaction. Just beg your mom to consult a doctor. This could be serious.

  6. rinse them through artificial tears and then close your eyes. after that, you can try to take them out by pinching your contact or pushing it to the inside of your eye until it pops out.

theres also this "suction cup" thing that you can pop on it its made for contacts and it'll get the contact off right away...

    it hurts a bit tho

  7. ok put like five drops in one eye, nd keep it closed untill its not that watery, then gently drag them down, be gentle even if u get impatient cuz u'll only end up having to do it again cuz u'll hurt urself, then just do the same for the other eye, remember to keep the drops in ur eye untill its not watery so the drop can go under the contacts, 8 hours isnt much ur eyes r prob just dry

  8. depends on what kind of contacts,i used to use semi-rigid ones long ago. the same thing happend to me several times.

what i did was used some artificial tears to moisten the lenses and eye .then try to relax abit.seems like tension affects the eye. also when relaxing.put a cool cloth soaked in water over your closed eyes..then try again..if no go...repeat the process agin.
