  1. First of all, take out your contacts. Use your glasses. Secondly, try switching out your pair. Do your eyes feel better? If so, your contacts were probably over worn and full of bacteria. I have that happen sometimes. If changing your contacts does not help, you could have a corneal ulcer, corneal abrasion,  or eye infection. The watering of the eye makes me think corneal ulcer or abrasion, do you have sensitivity to light? That's another classic symptom along with redness. Again, if the watering /burning continues with new contacts take them out and go to the eye doctor, they will check to make sure nothing is seriously wrong. Corneal ulcers/abrasions can only be fixed with eye drops (usually they'll give you antibacterial eye drops as well as anti-inflammatory eye drops).

  2. That's not normal and there could be bacteria in your contacts. Have you changed brands or solution lately? I suggest getting a new pair and seeing if it happens again. If it does, try a different solution. I suggest calling your eye doctor and asking for their advice.
