Hi, i have worn contacts for 2 years now and it just recently started to make my eyes red. I do have allergies but its not that. I clean my lenses properly everyday and i don't over wear them. But when i put them on, my eyes get red and it doesn't hurt but my eyes start to feel really tired and sore and dry and when i take them off, the redness goes away. Im scared i might have an eye infection. Or do you think it's just sensitivity

  1. Please see your eye doctor as soon as possible, because you could be scratching your cornea, and this hurts. That happened to me once when I was wearing gas permeable lenses (not the soft lenses). I ended up going on a business trip to Dallas for 2 weeks, wearing my glasses which I hated!  You may need a change in the size, which is what they measure. Your eyes do change over time, so you definitely need an exam. Also, what might help, if they are the hard lenses, is to get them -polished-. They might talk you into an exam (which they should) to make sure you aren't damaging your eyes.
