My cooling fan for my 94 honda del sol is turning on, does anyone know why??

becouse its hot. ok  does it come on when you turn on the ac?

after checking fan motor,fan relay don't forget to check the fuses

Here are some things to check out:

1) The cooling fan itself. If you have wires w/ alligator clips, connect the fans from the connector to battery power and see if it works. If so, the fan is good.

2) Check the cooling fan relay. If they are hot to the touch, chances are it might be bad.

3) Check the cooling fan sensor. Remember its a variable resistor, when exposed to different temperatures it gives a different resistance reading. If you have a Haynes manual for your vehicle you might be able to get the respectable resistance values.

4) Check the connections to the fan the cooling fan sensor and the relay.
