My copied DVDs won't work in my DVD player??

I've tried 2 different types, i've tried the DVD+RW then i tried the DVD-R (because this is what my dvd player said it was compatible with). The DVD player is fairly new, so why aren't they working?? It just says "No PLay"

Im using CDBurner XP to burn my DVDs, they work on the laptop. Can anyone help, or tell my what im doing wrong?

  1. If you want to burn videos or music on a disk, you can't simply copy them on the disc, or the DVD player will not play them. So, you need a DVD Author software, I have been using Cucusoft DVD/VCD/SVCD Creator Pro
