My cordless phone and security cam work on 4.5gh bad interference if i switch to 5.8gh phone will it fix this?

  1. When experiencing interference problems, switching equipment to another frequency band is often enough to solve the problem.  But, if by chance the interference is being caused by a commercial high power transmitter near by, then you may be out of luck.  But, first things first; try another band and see if that helps.


  2. what phone operates at 4.5ghz? never heard of that... and most wireless camera systems also operate within 2.4ghz... as does wifi...

    a 5.8ghz phone should reduce the interference however it may reduce the range... a DECT 1.9ghz phone is the best choice for a cordless phone, as that frequency is set aside for cordless phones only, so no interference from other devices...

  3. NO i work for verizon repair and i always recommend 2.4
