pull the battery and make sure it's completely dried out before trying to use it

Give it time to dry out - a lot of things "bounce back" given time.  I've even had a TV dry out and work fine.  Good luck.

dry it out with a blow dryer

DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER

That happend to me, There is hope actually....Just blow dry it as much as you can, Shake it and dry it with a towel as much as you can.

take ia apart as much as possible

and use a hot blow dryer to dy the inside

may take an hour or so

mine worked after that

pull it apart take out the battery and put it somewhere to dry out in the sun or on the window sill wait fo a few hours and it shouldbe dried out ,make sure you dry it as much as possile first and after leaving it apart for awhile it should be okay

Take the battery cover off and remove the battery.  Lay the parts out to dry.  When dry put back together....and cross your fingers.  I think that's what my husband did when he got his wet.  I think it was okay.
