Regarding "V-Tech 5.8 Digital cordless phone".

My land line always works. At irregular times the cordless phones stop working. If I unplug the cordless base from the wall jack and plug it back in, all the phones work just fine. I unplug the phone line, not the power. what's wrong?

  1. Since you are saying that the regular phone is working fine we can make sure that there is no problem on the line,

now did you try changing the channel frequency on the cordless phone?

try changing the frequency which would give good clarity and if you are not able to do so contact the vendor from where you purchased the cordless.

  2. Sometimes cordless phones "short" out. You have to leave it unplugged for 5 minutes and then plug it back in. It should start working again.

I can't stand cordless phones. I have one in the house, just in case, but I ALWAYS use corded phones.
