My corian counter top has a smudge underneath the veneer will that come out if I sand it down?

  1. you can try to wet sand and buff it out but i dont think it is going to come out you will have to sand too much off to get it out. can you show some pics


  2. There is no veneer on a corian top. They are colored plastic all the way through. You could try sending it off with very fine grit sandpaper (300 grit or more).

    Only laminate tops like Formica have veneer on them. If you sand them you will destroy the finish on the veneer.

  3. The "smudge" gives your countertop character !

    Accept it and live with it, cuz you can't get rid of it! .."Geez !"
