  1. Feed it one adult mouse every week, or after every time it defecates (poops). The mouse should be big enough so that after the snake eats you can see the bulge in its middle. When your snake gets so big that the mouse no longer makes a bulge you can switch to small rats.

I added a link to a general corn snake care sheet, just in case you have any other questions!

    Hope this helps!

  2. You should feed it about 2-3 hoppers every 7 days.

My Corn Snake Is About 2 1/2 Feet long and that's what she eat and she is healthy so i think it should work for you

    Good Luck

  3. It depends entirely on how round it is, really. You are supposedly able to feed them a prey item that is 1.5 times the size of the thickest part of their body, but I don't feed mine anything that is wider than he is, and even then this is a rare occurrence.

When my corn was 3ft long, he was between 1 and 1.5inches wide. For this, I fed him a mixture of mice, mostly 1 or 2 fluffies (slightly smaller than small mice) every 5-6 days or so, or 1 small mouse every week. However, my corn used to defaecate only a 2-3 days after feeding, so I suppose it depends on the animal as to how quickly it passes from the digestive system.

Anyway, I would recommend you seek advice from a specialist too, to make sure that you are feeding it properly.

    Hope it helps.

  4. It depends on how big around it is and how big the food is.  If you're giving him mice, make them big ones and he won't have to eat as often.  I feed mine a medium rat every month, but he's about three and a half feet now, as big around as a half dollar.  After you feed your snake, he will be very still, digesting the food.  After he makes a bowel movement, he will slowly begin to show signs that he's becoming active again.  Your snake will start hunting around his tank if he's hungry.  He will flick his tongue and roam the tank in search of food.

  5. One appropriate sized food item every 7-10 days.

An appropriate sized item would be no bigger and 1 1/2 times the girth of the snake or you can give it several smaller items

Remember not to handle the snake for at least 24 hours after feeding or you risk the snake regurgitating. On Deviant Art there was a thread about the stinkiest smells ever and puked up mouse was one of them
