  1. She is about to shed.

  2. Lol dont worry dude its shedding, up the humidity.

  3. the snake is shedding....and growing.

  4. Yep, she's about to shed.  Up the humidity in her tank by about 10% (you can use a mist bottle or cool steam steamer).

Leave her alone. Snakes feel vulnerable when they can't see well, and some tend to get quite nippy, striking at movement. It's defensive behavior.

Also, if her eyes and skin clear up again, soon before she sheds, that's normal, too.

Most snakes eat right after a shed.

Enjoy her new silky shiny scales.

  5. Like everyone has said, it is getting ready to shed. I would suggest making a shedding box. Take a plastic food container, cut a hole in the side big enough for the snake, and fill it halfway with wet sphangum or peat moss. The snake will go in the box and get a good long soak. That will help with the shedding.

  6. Well I think it might be shedding. If it doesn't go away within a week take it to a vet.

  7. shedding. make sure you have rough rocks and/or sticks in its cage to rub on.  Also make sure you have a container of fresh non-chlorinated water it can totally submerse itself in.

  8. Like the others say, she's about to shed.  First her eyes will clear up although her color will stay dull looking. Within 5 to 7 days after her eyes clear, she'll shed.

Once she sheds, check the shed for eyecaps and the tail tip to be sure she shed completely.

    Good luck!

  9. You're looking at the first signs of shedding.  Mist your snake just a bit and give it something to shed on and in a few days you'll see a brand new brightly colored snake.
