  1. Bipolar NOS is when the doctor doesn't want to classify the exact type of disorder. Plus its not very important which type of disorder you have as the treatment and course of illness are not very different.


  2. It's neither. You probably meant NOS, Not Otherwise Stated. It's when your symptoms don't quite fit the symptoms for the other types of Bipolar. Go to http://www.hmc.psu.edu/healthinfo/b/bipo... to read about your illness. Good luck.
