My cousin had a rebel flag on the back of his truck he was killed.......?

he was killed by 3 black guys that drug him outa his truck and beat him to death for havin that sticker the sticker was his highschool football team colors he wasnot racist on any level whatsoever they wrote glp love on his truck and blackpower. the question i have is why was this not a hate crime??????

sounds like a hate crime to me were they not charged with hate crime? i no hate crimes will bring stiffer punishment and to me this fits the bill
