My cousin is behaving badly at school!?

Question

My cousin is now in 3rd grade and he continues to misbehave.His done this since Kindergarten. My grandma takes care of us so she is so sick of it.Today he was using foul language ,said stuff about killing,and kept talking about Bloody Mary(not the drink).What is grandmother going to do.Besides transferring him to another school.We've already grounded,spanked,and took away visiting privileges to see his dad.He lives a couple of blocks away. Long Story! Please help.He is 8 years old

Wow, I have a cousin like this, and it's really hard for old people to discipline kids since their well...old. Best thing is talking to him, send him to a better school, more evasive action (meaning stricter punishment), and a counselor pysciatrist to help with getting him to stop misbehaving. He could seriously end up as one of those bad druggie, murderer, robber people.

Sounds like the boy just doesn't get it..well i don't know your story but perhaps he needs a Father figure to show him what discipline  is.. boys at that age are very hyper and naive.. but all i can say is to keep trying perhaps he'll change. if there any problems you can always email me. here's an url that i found that perhaps is useful for you and your working grandmother

before he ends up on the news for shooting people at his school.

Get professional help. This can be a scary thing to do but in the long run it will help.

Perhaps your Grandma needs some backup (friends or other relatives) and talk to the school teacher. If this doesn't work then perhaps go to a professional counsellor outside of the school system.

Punishing him for his behaviour doesn't work so try the next step. Seek professional help. Scary yes but worth it.
