My cousin is being bullied because of youtube?

im 15 and she's 12 and one day she was at my house whilst her mom was working, when i said we should start a youtube show. She agreed and since then we've done 3 videos.

We have had many good comments and ratings so far and all my friends and her friends think its a cool show, except for the boys in her class who tease her and she wants to delete the channel coz they are picking on her, but i feel bad for her because she really enjoys doing it and everyone likes it (except them obviously)

I don't know what to do!!!

Sounds like you're having fun - that's the important thing.  As long as she's enjoying it, let her know that in life there will ALWAYS be someone who's looking to c**p all over things you love.  

They're usually miserable people looking to spread the love.

Im sure if it wasnt youtube it would be something else - Im 25 and when I was young people would pick on you for the color of your shirt, just tell her to tell them if they dont like the channel they do not have to watch it - and if they do like it they shoudlnt act like they dont ( I say that because they are picking on her for it, which means they watched it at home on their free time, when they could have been doing anything else )

She needs to ignore those dumb boys. You both could end up being one of those Youtube stars that get sponsored by different companies. Don't quit. Make your subscribers and viewers grow by the thousands. I made my own Youtube channel and I've hit my 5,000 subscriber mark.

Tell her to tell her friends that they don't have to watch it if they don't like it. If everyone else gives you good comments and good ratings why listen to them. If you and her want to continue to do the show do it. By the way what is your youtube channel.

Tell her to ignore the boys! They are stupid and immature monkeys who are just trying to impress each other by seeing how mean they can be to another person. she should be proud of what she's doing, and keep doing it for herself because SHE thinks its fun. just closing the channel wont stop the boys from teasing her, theyll keep doing it anyway. the only thing that can be done is to weather the storm, hang on, and hold tight until it passes. because it WILL pass, mabe not completely but it will calm down after a while. how long depends on the boys in question... of course, if you could do the show a little less often or make it so that its harder to make fun of, they will lose interest quicker, and once theyv lost interest completely or mostly you can come out again completely! just make sure you dont just STOP, because then they wont lose interest, you have to just slooow it down some. then come back again once the boys are done

Who cares if they pick on her.  Look at all the people that are famous for movies, music, politics, etc.  They all have people constantly up their butts trying dig up dirt and make them look bad.  I would considere that being picked on...and yet they still go on and just ignore it.  I would say that you should let her know that anytime you put yourself out there, someone is going to have an opinion and let you know what it is...

i will try to find th elink but there is these two girls on Youtube that do videos and one has a scar on her eye and gets comments about it and she still does youtube videos and the other girl is a beautiful blond, you just have to have courage in the presence of fear. if the videos don't encourage her then I would delete it or get someone else to do videos with, the thing is the guys are JELOUS and she shold know this because they can;t come up with their own channel and their own stuff.

When I was 12 I teased girls on everything. Now that you know this your cousin is a step ahead. Mostly guys tease girls because they like them at that age and it is far more easier than having a normal conversation. I don't know it's in our genetics. Don't erase it. It be cool if you put it up. Is your cousin pretty that should answer everything? that will answer if they are jerks or teasing.

Tell her to search Y!A for Miley Cyrus.  Let her see how many people make fun of Miley.  Tell her that if she wants to make movies or do things that are in the public eye, some people will like them, while others will make fun of her.  You can't do anything about the haters.  She just needs to be tough enough to take the teasing.

Keep doing you show; it doesn't matter what anyone says as long as you're happy and/or other people like your show. Remember, people get picked on/bullied for things because the bullier is jealous.
