It's the part that the bed & boxsprings sit on. It's a full sized so I don't really want to have to go buy another one. He hit it pretty hard but it isn't bent bad enough to where the bed can sit on it anymore. It just leans now a bit, and it's not very comfortable. Plus, it's just sticking out there a bit now and I don't want him to run into it and hurt himself on it. What can I do to fix it?

  1. bend it back

  2. See if you can buy a used bed frame somewhere! At a used furniture store or the Salvation Army, Good Will, Or somewhere similar!

  3. Take the boxsprings  and matress off.

May have to take the frame apart some what.

Take the bent pieces of metal and stick them under the bumper of a truck and bend them back.  May have to get a buddy to help.

  4. Bluegill is right on.  Ask for a bed rail.  That is what it's called and there should be plenty for the asking.

  5. You can get a hammer and knock on it till it goes back into shape. Also you can buy a new piece, not and entire new framing, just one strip that will help keep cost down. Hope that helps!
