I dont want to seem akward and boring. Its an 8th grade graduation and I'm a year older than them... I'm nervous that its going to be cliquey and I honestly dont fit in to cliques real well... like i dont talk and i seem rude I guess...(im wild and fun wth my close friends though)? Theres going to be boys there too! And theyve known eachother for forever and i'll be just meeting them! I could just meet them then mingle with my other relatives... but i really would like to hang out with them if i can get over the akwardness... does anyone have any suggestions? Theres also going to be another girl cousin there a year older than me... should i see what she does( as in hanging with relatives or with the friends?) Any advice would be appreciated... thanks=)

  1. don't go or just meet em then hang wit ur family members

  2. Well you have the advantage here as you're older.

i would suggest that you hang out with you're cousin. Then people will come up to her and you will get a second to meet them and think of something to say.

You're relatives will be there so you don't have to be with her friends the whole time.  Just be out going, and yourself. Also remember that you're probably never going to see these people ever again, so don't worry!

  3. i suggest that you hang out with your cousin, so when her friends come; she will just introduce you to them. And in case something goes wrong and it's not working, take your  ipod with you and just listen to it

  4. Be confident, smile and mix up with them as if they are your age.

    Self-Confidence is very important.
