My cr500 after about four kicks it will backfire if i feel the exaust after backfire it is hot as h**l no star

it sounds crazy when backfire but still will not start

new plug clancarb fresh gas and one real sore right foot

I have a 98 and use this cold start sequence every time.  1. Choke ON    2. kick it exactly 10 times very lightly (just enough to push the kick start lever a full cycle) This loads the cylinder with fuel.  3. Kick it HARD, from the very top to the very bottom. Don't kick it like a girl or it won't work. Starts one kick every time!!!

HOT OR WARM START
No choke but bring throtle to 3/4 and kick it like you own it
