My credit card expiry date is 08/08, will it still work throughout this month?

I'm confused because the new card they sent me has a start date of 09/08 which is next month, and I tried using it already online and it didn't work. So will be 08/08 card work still? Or do they expire on the 1st of their expiry month?

yes until the 31st!!!

i think it depends on the card company. i work at gap and all the gap cards that expire on that month expire the first of that month, its kind of annoying, but if that happens you can usually call and they will allow it to run through.

your old card will still work through the month, unless you activated your new card.  did you activate the new card yet?
