My crown just came off my tooth?

what is something i can temporarily use to glue it back on. the dentist is closed today and dont have an appointment until tuesday.

anyone know what i can use to temporarily glue it in until then?

  1. They sell temporary cement for crowns in Wal-mart, CVS and other pharmacies.Follow the instructions and it should last until then. However, if it falls out again or if you can not find the temporary cement in the pharmacies, out the crown in a ziploc bag and put it somewhere safe and bring it with you to the dentist. There should be no real harm in having it off for just a few days. This does happen to some people unfortunately. Just make sure to keep the area clean, meaning brushing and flossing after eating in that area. Best of Luck!  


  2. It is not recommended that you use any kind of glue. It would pose even greater health risk to you. All you can do is wait until the dentist office is open.

  3. A simple remedy is to get some denture adhesive and place a SMALL amount all around the edge [margins] of the crown.  This will hold the crown on.
