My cu zen found a small black lizard wit yellow lines on its back how do we make it feel at home ?

do any know what kind it is its real small what do they eat probley about 2 in help me please

Sounds like it's some kind of salamander, I don't know tho..  But it's cruel to keep things that belong in the wild..  You wouldn't want someone to take you from your cozy bed, lock you in a cage, and feed you things you didn't even eat...  No please put it back, these animals require certain heat, uv lights, Vita enriched foods..  Why would you even want to be bothered ya know?

You don't give your approximate location or a very good description of the lizard. That makes it difficult to identify.

The perfect way to make him feel right at home is to release him where he was found. If you can't identify him, or know how to care for him, how long do you expect him to live in your care?

Captive caught animals, especially reptiles and amphibians, quickly decline when kept by inexperienced people. In many places it is illegal to keep a wild animal as a pet.

You make it feel at home by putting it back in its home in the wild.  What makes you think a wild animal who was doing just fine on its own would be better off being confined in a house by someone who doesn't even know what it is or what it eats?

If you are going to keep it wich i think you will , get it the proper stuff like:

10gallon or more tank

uvb lighting

substrate

decorations and hides

heating

food

Most lizards eat a variety of crickets, fruit flies, house flies, earthworms, superworms, mealworms, pillbugs and other insects and invertebraes
