Question:

My current weight is 110 and i am 16 and 5"7 i want to get to a healthy bmi of 120 any tips?

And if i do get to 120 will i still be skinny or borderline underweight?

  1. At 120 you will see a difference.  I don't think you want to be 120 all of a sudden.  Try going to 115 and see how you like that.  If you are OK with that, then try an extra 5 pounds.  But I was the same size you are at 16 and the same height.  110 is hot!


  2. Just eat well... You will find out that many girls are really thin until 19. Then they fill out naturally. It is called the freshman 15 in college.

    So don't try to  put on weight. Just eat normal and you will fill out when it is time.

    My wife was only 100 lbs when we met and 105 when we married at 23. And now she wishes she was there again. So enjoy it.  

  3. Truthfully, BMI is overrated.  it doesn't take into account muscle mass.  People who are pretty well built with low body fat are considered obese or even morbidly obese according to BMI.  It would be a better idea to worry about your body fat percent.

  4. First of all, you cant have a BMI of 120.  But if you get to 120 POUNDS, at 5'7" that would be ok.  Everyone is different though, as yo uprobably know my brother.

  5. You would be larger than a whale if your BMI is 120.

  6. eat a lot of junk food and dont exersise but dont over do it
