When my customized "My Yahoo" home page suddenly became something else I lost my calendar and other preferred topics. How do I get them back?

  1. This is one of the issues with the new format (Beta).  A number of item I had in the Classic format did not migrate to the new version so well.  You really only have 2 choices.

    1. Rebuild the missing content on your new page

         -or-

    2. Switch back to the classic format.  To do that,You should see a small link "Switch to original My Yahoo!" in the upper right hand corner of you My Yahoo page (there is also a small link at the very bottom of the page)

--Click on this link and a confirmation page will come up *** --Click on the "Switch Back" button and you should be back to your old (classic) My yahoo page.

    If that doesn't work, try

    http://cm.my.yahoo.com/switch

    Hope this helps

  2. I was one of the lucky ones. when I switched my content came with it. I am getting used to the way it looks, but today I tried to rearrange the modules. I just wanted to trade locations with others not rearrange the columns but I tried that and thought I would never get it set up the way it appeared when I first switched. I finally did but I was never able to move them within the page. I tried the options button and that only gives me weird stuff, no edit function. I tried drag and drop

no luck. Before it was so easy to move and add stuff. Hope they fix this. also don't like to have to use flickr to e-mail photo's. most of my friends don't want to go through the hoops just to see some pics which before I was just able to add photos and e-mail. Hope we see some better options soon.
