My dad mistakenly erased our library of music off of his computer. We do still have music on each of our iPods. Can we still sync new music and videos into the library on the computer and add them to our ipods without erasing the music on our iPods?

  1. yes just sync ipod to pc and the songs on ipod will go in itunes library

  2. Short answer: no.

    Long answer: with some work.

To add files, you have to sync it, which requires erasing the iPod. The good news is that there are apps available to download the files from your iPods. That way you can just add the files into iTunes and sync your iPods again. Make sure you do that before syncing and erasing, though.

Free Apps for Mac: Senuti and iPodDisk

App for Windows: iPod Rip (30-day trial, long enough to get the stuff off)

  3. you can do it i mean get back your music by plugin in the ipod to a computer andmake sure it soesnt have itunes on it and copy and paste the music from your iipod to a file in your c drive and then pull that to your itunes and re sync and then you can add more music
