my dad is starting to be this grouchy, crotchety old man the older her gets (although hes only 56) he says rude, ignorant things but thinks hes mr. cool guy, big shot. its not like hes super educated to think of himself all high and mighty. he is stubborn and thickheaded and says rude things about my mom (about what kinda things are a 'woman's' job when he refuses to help around the house) he also thinks hes always right or more right then u (IF he admits hes wrong, but you're always more wrong)....i can come to terms with that and accept that hes from a diff generation from me and is just an ignorant person. but my problem is that one of my brothers is acting exactly like him. they've always been closest in personalities anyway, but hes now starting to say and do things like my dad, but they are all the negative things. my mom gets upset that they are learning more negative then positive things from my dad (how i said he says ignorant things all day long and is more time then not pretty much a jerk) my brother thinks my dad is right, my other brother is like me- a 50/50 of both my parents and he sees that our other brother is going down a wrong path with his actions and what hes deciding is right/wrong. how can i change something here? or how can i cope with this BS!?????
