My dad died a few days ago?

Now I need to know if my aunts, or other family claimed his body! So how do I find out? My father was estranged from me & my brother. So I do not know his side of the family and I have looked through the obits. NOW what do I do or who do I contact!

Was his death in the paper...call Social security and ask....ask the funeral place he was laid out in they have all his information.

Call the state where he died in ask for The Death Certificate Dept.  Also the county Courthouse in his state and county.

Look up Death records...there are many ways to find out and as his legal children you have the right to know..if this doesn't work hire a lawyer he might have had an estate that you are entitled to.
