My dad got a new job and moved: to a new state....(advice)

well my dad moved to a new state for his job. he'll be gone 6 months min. hes been gone for a while now, but has stopped calling me..i love my dad and wish he never left. does anyone know y he stopped calling me or how i can get my mind off my dad?

don't take it too personally if he doesn't call u. maybe he misses you too much. it's hard to understand, but dads don't like to show their feelings. you should call him instead of waiting for him to call you.

He may be just very busy.  Do you know how to get in tough with him?  If so, call him and let him know that you miss him and was concerned about him since he hasn't called you in a while.

Sweetie, there can be many reasons why he stopped calling, but if you truly want to find out why, call him and ask him. Sometimes, life gets in the way of things. He could be working too many hours. You can make a date with him like on Wednesday night at 8pm. It is hard to be apart, but if you make an effort, you may patch things together until you are back together. God bless.
