My dad got me a sig sauer mosquito for my birthday what is the best ammo to use. the gun it is 22lr?

I use cci mini mags as well. I have not tried the Federal yet....

Dang. What a dad.

I dunno. Trial and error. My semi-auto marlin prefers Federal copper plated, but it jams with remington or winchester.

Buy a box and try it out. If it doesn't crush them well or jams a lot then try a different type.

I haven't head many complaints about CCI. Anything that is more expensive will probably work fine. But seeing which cheap stuff works is what is really important.

That is a good little gun, but it can be ammo picky.  I suggest you go to the gunstore and buy one box each of 4 different types, and then see which of those your gun likes best

If your Mosquito is anything like my Walther P-22 then it will prefer the hottest .22 LR ammo you can find.  I use CCI Mini Mags in my Walther and it works flawlessly.
