  1. are you looking for life insurance or health insurance?

  2. If you are asking about health insurance, then I would suggest you try to get him enrolled in Medicare. Due to his age and condition, he may be eligible. He may have to claim disability, but it would be well worth it. Go to medicare.com to get more info, and make an appointment at your local social security office. While you are waiting for the appointment, have him get a letter from his doctor stating the severity of his condition, and gather any and all medical records any hospital visits. It will greatly speed things along if you have the records before the evaluation. But do remember that even with Medicare, they pay 80%, so be prepared for the 20% copays (this is for outpatient visits, inpatient is a flat deductible of around $1200 for the entire stay). I would suggest supplemental insurance to cover this, but with his condition, it may cost you more to pay the premiums than the actual copays. Good Luck.

  3. Are you talking life or health?  Life is going to be VERY expensive, and health, well, you're not going to get that heart disease covered, under a private policy - likely no one will take him at ALL.    Best bet is for him to get on a group plan through his employer - or his wife's.

  4. Health or life? You didn't clarify. Assurant Health has a "Key Med" policy that will cover him with heart disease if he has not had a stent placed in his heart. The only thing I know of that would prevent him from qualifying for the Key Med plan is a heart stent.

Life insurance is a different matter. Stonebridge Life offers a policy up to 249,999.00 with no medical conditions considered.

  5. nope, pre-existing condition, even if he does fina na insurance policy i bet it will be 1,000 per month with a heart cfondition.

  6. The only way he could get health insurance is if he owned a company and had either a business partner or at least one employee.  That way he could get insurance with pre existing conditions, otherwise, he can't get individual.
