My dad is SOOOO corny and anoying!!!?

My dad is probably the most corny and anoying dad in the world. I don't get along with him for very long. My brother and I are fricken sick of him but my sister is an anoying kiss up so my dad will buy her designer stuff. WHAT DO I DO!!!!!!????????!!!!!!!!!

Your answer depends on a question...does he do or say things that really give your feelings merit? Probably not. Remember also that you probably do and say things that annoy him as well, but he loves you anyway. Try to not harp on the negative things but find and appreciate the good things about your dad. Does he tell you he loves you, does he spend time with you and talk to you, does he listen when you want to talk?

god, reading your "question" brought me back to memories back when i was just like you.

i was the same d**n thing with my mum and dad. our only source of communication was arguments and screaming

but i learned to accept my family and love my parents

they are the only source of unconditional love you will ever EVER receive.

when everyone else turns their back on you

your family should always be there and you should love them in return.

stop being a spoiled brat and thinking of how corny your father is

you havnt met all the dads in the world to justify that he's the most annoying father in the world.

your parents work hard for you, to give you an education, a house to live in so respect them for that.

be thankful that you do have parents and a father there because so many people in the world dont and alot of them dont complain.

Love him for who he is.. he isnt going to change.. hes your dad, the only one you have and you should be blessed that you still have him. My dad was very strict and old school when I was growing up. No dating, no makeup, no dances, no prom, no homecomming.. and at the age of 17 I had a 8pm curfew.. When I was 18 (and still living at home) he upped my curfew to 10pm..  We never got along at all, he passed away when I was 19 and to this day I wished that I would have gotten along with him better.

love your dad for who he is i just lost my dad at 15 so dont take advantage of having a dad bcuz tomorow may never come for him and you will wish yal were closer jus try to understand and get along with him

Watch the movie BIG FISH. It is about a father son relationship that sounds similar to yours. It is a really good movie b/c it shows you to appreciate the people in your life that are around you b/c we all eventually die. **I'm 25 and my parents both still drive me crazy sometimes but if I didnt have them I would be lost and sad!
