My dad is a German,i have dual citizenship.Must i give up one of the citizenship, when i reach the age of 18.

I am an adult and have dual citizenship with US and UK. As long as the countries are not politically opposed, you should be able to retain both in your life and pass both onto your children (should you have any).

You shouldn't have to. Take a look at a law that passed not long ago. Filipino Republic Act No. 9225. It allows you to be a dual citizen without choosing between the 2. In Germany, if your parent was German, so are you. no gray area.
