Question:

My dad is arriving at Terminal 8 at JFK with lots of bags, can he walk with his bags on the cart to Terminal 4

He basically wants to avoid Air Train, can he walk from terminal 8 to terminal 4

  1. Hi Rao, good question, I was looking for exact same question, may be we are brothers:) and yes we're.

    I got it, so two options, train or taxi. He seems to be fine by taking train now, the only problem is that train stops for such a short time, he had difficulty loading in 2 trolleys with six bags. Good think is on way back, he has only three bags that can be fit in one trolley, so he be fine.

    doesn't have distances, but let's assume it's at least a mile, maybe two.  that big space in the middle may be fenced in parking and all that construction.  he could have a very long way to go around it all.

    he may be better of paying $3-4 for a cab if he really doesn't want to take air tran.  even with a cart which costs about the same as cab fare it would be rough travel, if he's even allowed to do it.

    it takes what, 10 minutes to drive around the place with traffic, so how long would it take with a cart, having to backtrack, negotiate curbs, etc...
