My dad is going on holiday for 2 weeks, and need to take my cat to my mums where there is another cat.

I'm worried that he might run off while he is at my mums.

Please help, what should i do? My cat means a lot to me and can't stand the thought of him running off or getting lost or something. Help?

Ask your mum to please keep your cat indoors.  That will keep him safe.

^ Agreed- have your mum keep him inside.  She might need to keep him separated from the other cat as well, just to keep his stress level down.  In this case, where it's not for long and he's in an unfamiliar place, confining him to a smaller area (just a few rooms) might help him feel more secure, so keeping the other cat away doesn't need to be a huge ordeal.
