Because i didn't go to school. Would making hamburgers, chicken fingers, and a beer or something make him happy, you think? Like would it lessen the screaming i'll have to endure? Plus i cleaned the living room and did the dishes for him... would it make you happier? Adults? Just to squeeze in... i havn't missed one day this year.

  1. Well being nice can't hurt, but if I was your dad I would appreciate a real promise that it won't happen again. Think of it from his point of view. To you it is only missing a day of school, to him it could be the beginning of a big decline and that likely scares him.

Act like an adult more and you will get treated like one. Take your lumps now and have a talk that will reassure him.

Really parents worry that their kids are drifting away and they are scared about that. Give him some consideration and help him understand this was a stupid one shot deal.

Then don't do it again. Get an education and then have a good life.

  2. just talk to him let him know your side of the story

  3. Try sitting down and explaining why you skipped classes and how you spent that time.  If screaming is all you are going to face then you will be getting off easy.
