My dad isnt as fun or..good as other dads are...what should i do?

My dad is soo cheap...he complains when two lights are on..

He dont want me to have fun at all..he dont want me to go to the movies at all..

i cant even talk on the phone as much...i cant be aloud outside as much.

he cut my cable for 2 years! and he still dont want to bring it back

he complains about the bill

can a man be that cheap?

He does the total opposite my mom would do...What should i do?

Well, sometimes you get the short end of the stick, my heart goes out to you.  Perhaps you could have a word with your mother, and have her "negotiate" with  him to be a bit more reasonable.  If that doesn't work...

Write a letter to M.T.V. and ask them if they can Pimp your Dad.

Lol thats how my dad used to be. Gets mad when door slams, complains about money when you ask to barrow some. I just started making jokes about it and stuff. It seemed to work, or older age might of been it lol.

You need to GROW UP!!!! When you are an adult and out on your own,i.e.PAYING YOUR OWN WAY!!!! then you can spend YOUR money however you want.Until then DEAL WITH IT!!!!!!!

I believe your attitude is rather cheap. In this day and age, many kids would love to have a dad.

When finances are rough, it's often necessary to economize and not be wasteful. There's a listen to learn here, even if might go overboard sometimes, seemingly.

I don't think it's right for you to come on here criticizing him behind his back, and looking for support. Adjust your attitude, show some respect and realize how lucky you are.

most likely he doesn't have enough money or if he does you spend too much and u need to obtain ur own money. get a job and u don't have to worry about whether if he gets u stuff or not and is ur under 16 there are other jobs that pay cash. also remeber the economy sux right now
