My dad keeps doing this, and now my brother is doing it.

What the heck is going on? I hate these lies! My dad and my brother keep telling me, "ok i'm going to the store." They don't come back until early in the morning, or later on in the day. WTF? That pisses me off, and I don't know what's going on. I'm expecting for them to come, but it all just seems like they're going out with their friends instead. Help!

Talk to your dad and bro. and discuss how you feel about these "lies". Tell them that you are getting worried and wonder about their whereabout. Once they feel your concern i'm pretty sure that they will cut off their habits of going out with friend 'til wee hours.

Tell them that they don't have to tell you where they're going if they don't want to, but don't lie to you. And you should tell them that you're insulted that they think that you're too stupid to figure out a midnight trip to the store doesn't take all night. Ask them to just tell you they'll be back later, and leave.
